Business onboarding and evidence
This guide outlines, in general terms, the kinds of information the planned Fintech Meta onboarding process is being designed to evaluate. Fintech Meta is currently pre-authorisation; onboarding is not yet available, and final requirements will be confirmed once the platform is authorised.
Corporate and ownership evidence
A clear picture of the legal entity and its ownership is central:
- certificate of incorporation and current registration details;
- an ownership chart showing the group structure;
- ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) identification and evidence.
Ownership transparency is one of the strongest signals in any assessment.
Licences and markets
Where you operate in a regulated activity, providing your licences, the markets they cover and their status allows activity to be checked against genuine authority. A payment partner’s authorisation never replaces your own sector licences.
Money flows and counterparties
A description — ideally a diagram — of how money moves through your business is extremely helpful: collections, reserves, settlements, payouts and the parties involved. Listing significant counterparties supports both assessment and ongoing monitoring.
Source of funds and volumes
Be ready to explain where your funds come from and to give realistic estimates of transaction volumes and values by flow type.
Keeping data safe
Do not submit identity documents, private keys, passwords or confidential customer data through public channels. Onboarding, when available, will use appropriate secure processes.
Frequently asked questions
Answers to commonly asked questions about our platform
What information is needed for an initial assessment?
In general terms: corporate and ownership documents, ultimate beneficial owner evidence, relevant licences, the markets you serve, a description of your money flows and key counterparties, and realistic expected volumes. Specific requirements will be confirmed once the platform is authorised and live.
Should I send identity documents or private keys through the website?
No. Never submit identity documents, private keys, passwords or confidential customer data through public forms or channels.
How can I prepare in advance?
Organise your corporate documents, ownership chart, UBO evidence, licences and a diagram of your money flows. Well-prepared businesses can be assessed more quickly and more favourably.
